IntuiFace Version 5.6: The Designer Release

We like to say that with lousy content and IntuiFace, one can create amazingly interactive but seriously ugly experiences. The fact is that without good content and design, using modern techniques to engage an audience is beside the point. At the end of the day, the visuals must speak for themselves in a way that's both aesthetically appealing, intuitive and professional.

With IntuiFace Version 5.6 we have continued to expand upon the number of design options available for all of you creative types. With more options comes more opportunity for inventiveness and novelty. So what have we done to unleash your creative dragon? Here are the major additions:

Transparent Videos

On Windows you can now display videos with a transparent alpha channel. This enhancement was a huge vote getter in our user community so consider yourself heard. We do have specific technical requirements for making this happen; you can read about them here.

Animated GIFs

Animated GIFs are hip again and you can use them in IntuiFace. Grab your favorite GIFs and make them a part of your designs. No one can resist them! Details are here.

Transparent Player

You're not going to believe.this but it's true. On Windows you can now decide whether the background of your experience should be transparent. In fact, not only can you "see" everything behind Player, you can even interact with every app - and the Windows desktop itself - at the same time as Player. Even our mind is blown! Fill Behavior Control

We've given you greater power over how to visually represent Image/Video/Webcam assets and Image Buttons. We call these options fit, fill and deform. You can read about it here.
