IntuiFace Presentation

IntuiFace Presentation is a revolutionary solution to help you quickly and easily create true multitouch rich media presentations, which can run on a large set of Surface Computers. It can be implemented for a variety of usages such as mobile, kiosk, and collaborative and which does not require any programming skills.

IntuiFace Presentation consists of two components:


IntuiFace Presentation Composer for creating, without programming, a multitouch and tangible presentation by aggregating your media using a set of predefined controls and transitions;	IntuiFace Presentation Player to run this presentation on any kind of Surface Computer including Microsoft Surface and many existing and upcoming Win7-enabled multitouch devices available on the market.

What is IntuiFace Presentation Composer?

IntuiFace Presentation Composer is a design tool for creating rich multitouch presentations that are portable across a wide variety of surface computers. It is an interactive, WYTouchIWYG (What You Touch Is What You Get) front-end for designing XML-based IntuiFace Presentations that will run on any kind of Surface Computer thanks to the IntuiFace Presentation Player. How does it work?

An IntuiFace Presentation is made up of three simple constructs:

Spaces: Like a PPT slide: a skin-able placeholder for your Assets and Navigate actions;
Assets: Your original media (images, videos, office docs, Flash, etc..) that have been automatically “multitouch-ized” (rotate, translate, scale, scroll, play, flick, etc.), or Containers (list, carrousel, timeline, etc.) for this media (all of them skin-able);
Actions (Navigate right now): An action to navigate to another location in the same or another Space (or to an external application to go beyond media presentation) through animated transitions triggered by multitouch gestures on a graphic object, tangible object recognition, timers or other external events (i.e. Microsoft Surface tags, RFID identification or USB memory stick plugged in);

Using IntuiFace Presentation Composer, a creative designer will create presentation Spaces, drag and drop and arrange Assets in these Spaces, and position Navigation Actions. At any point in time, from within IntuiFace Presentation Composer, the creative designer will be able to play and touch (should s/he have a multitouch screen) the presentation being designed. Once created, the presentation can play on any surface computer running an IntuiFace Presentation Player.

Technology

IntuiFace Presentation is built on top of the IntuiFace Platform, the Surface Computing technology from IntuiLab. As the IntuiFace Platform is based on Microsoft’s WPF, IntuiFace Presentation is well positioned to take advantage of rich media rendering, Windows 7-certified multitouch devices and provide reliable and scalable presentations.

IntuiFace Presentation for Macintosh

Boot Camp: You can install IntuiFace Presentation on a Mac computer on a Windows partition. The system must use Boot Camp application program to help manage a dual OS configuration and meet the minimum system requirements:

Boot Camp V 2.0 or higher

Parallels Desktop: You can install IntuiFace Presentation on a Mac computer via Parallels Desktop for Mac software without having to boot directly into the Windows OS so it is easy to switch between platforms. The system must meet the following requirements:
